Response to dismissal of Town of Chatham, Va except Officer Roach

The Supreme Court held that:

the application of the Texas statute to detain appellant and require him to identify himself violated the Fourth Amendment because the officers lacked any reasonable suspicion to believe that appellant was engaged or had engaged in criminal conduct. Detaining appellant to require him to identify himself constituted a seizure of his person subject to the requirement of the Fourth Amendment that the seizure be "reasonable." Texas vs. Brown Decision

Now after all the positive feed back and also addressing the negative feedback. No one said everyone was dismissed. Officer Roach is still the only one out of everyone not getting a walk. The other defendants already know they have another filing to get prepared for. Yes, This is Merle Rutledge. The above ruling is the reason why. Now on to U.S. Supreme Court in Hiibel v. Sixth Judicial District Court of Nevada, 542 U.S. 177 (2004). The Supreme Court did not give Officers the right to ask for identification in that ruling unless they had reasonable suspicion or probable cause. Please if you are going to make a point than please do something simple as read. See so many want to have a problem with laws like the Health Care law and the government telling you what to do, but is so quick to defend the very thing in government that makes the Health Care law even more valid. It is called being a hyprocrit. As long as it doesnt bother me than I dont mind my freedom being taken away but the second it does than now you want to be protesting how bad government has become. It is the very reasons why you defend the simple violations and than wonder why the more complex is so hard to overturn. Its because you let things slide and now you sitting there figuring out how did it get this far. It is something as simple as your criticism even in this argument. No one and I mean no one has the right to take any right or freedom that has been yours since the day you was born. I dont care if you white and walking in a black neighborhood. If you are not doing anything wrong or bothering someone than I have no right and I mean no right to decide its ok for someone to bother you for the same reason. It doesnt matter about your race it matters about your rights. Just like some want their freedoms than if you are a coward than do what cowards do. Just take it. I dont fall into that league. I made a promise to Officer Nat Roach in the newspaper. He was going to see me before a judge. I kept my promise.
